Mobile

My photo work for the past couple years has primarily involved mobile photography.  Combining portability, quality and affordability has allowed me to focus on the power of chance moments.
This work has been featured in mobile photography exhibitions in Berlin, Philadelphia and Atlanta and can be found in This is Art , a book which brings together mobile photographers from all over the world to create a stream of mutual inspiration and creative expression.
This is the first book about the new art movement and shows selected photos exhibited in the Schlechtriem Brother Gallery in Berlin.

Views from the Porch

Located in the Southern Appalachians in the mountains of North Georgia, this series is of the view off of my back porch.  Fortunate to have such a view, I spend a lot of time on the porch.  The porch is where a lot of thought, discussion and theorizing takes place.  Not ever considering myself as a landscape photographer, I began this series as a way to capture the ever changing weather patterns that are frequent in this part of the South.  Theses images represent a span of over 3 years of imagery (and counting) and have been taken with an array of cameras and mobile camera apps.

TTV (through the viewfinder)

Combining the old with the new.  This images were taken with a digital slr in combination with a Mamiya C330 (1980s), a Kodak Duroflex II (1950s) - both twin-lens reflex cameras - or a Speed Graphix Graflex land camera (1930s).
